Encashment Authority

Encashment Authority (ENA) is used by customers for cashing cheques at alliance bank branches for petty cash. The ENA is issued by HSBC to its alliance bank to remove the risk of a dishonoured cheque up to the limit agreed with the customer.

  • Business Additional Information: Corporate use only. Product offering is subject to approval of credit limit.

 Bank Fees and Charges

  • Cheque Encashment Facility - Set Up (Upfront), Amount: 100.00. Additional Information: Charged per branch
  • Cheque Encashment Facility Amendment (Event), Amount: 50.00. Additional Information: Charged per amendment per branch
  • Cheque Cashing Fee (Transaction), Amount: 10.00. Additional Information: Charged for each encashment transaction. The fee is 1.5% of the transaction amount and is a minimum of AUD10 per transaction.

 Limitations & Restrictions (Constraints)

  • Max Limit of 1000000.00 Additional Information: The cumulative amount of encashments is subject to the approved credit limit
