 Product Features

  • Card Access Additional Information: Have easy access to your money with a Platinum Debit Mastercard with no foreign transaction fees and no overseas ATM fees. It's available to Australian citizens and temporary or permanent residents over 14 (or over 11 if the account was opened prior to 18.3.2025) with an Australian residential address (limited exceptions may apply subject to conditions).
  • Card Access Additional Information: Effective 28th November 2024, the proprietary Bankwest Debit Card will no longer be issued on new accounts (opened from that date) except to replace or reissue an existing Bankwest Debit Card.

  • Min Age - 14. Additional Information: The Bankwest Easy Transaction Account is an account for personal customers who meet the following age eligibility criteria: If applying through online channels, be aged 16 years or above; or If applying through staff assisted channels, be aged 14 years and above. Effective 4 May 2026, the applicant cannot be the trustee of a trust. Effective 15 April 2025, this product cannot be opened by an individual in their capacity as an executor/administrator of a deceased estate. Additional eligibility criteria apply to joint accounts.
  • Natural Person Additional Information: The Bankwest Easy Transaction Account is an account for personal customers who meet the following age eligibility criteria: If applying through online channels, be aged 16 years or above; or if applying through staff assisted channels, be aged 14 years and above. Effective 4 May 2026, the applicant cannot be the trustee of a trust.
